Hydraulics System
Stocker typically uses Gresen v-20 valves for our hydraulic applications. Gresen has proven itself with consistent quality field performance with no breakdowns. These valves have capacity to flow 20 gal. per minute hydraulic through them providing quick cycle time for the spade blades.
Our standard application hydraulic pump has a flow of 20 to 22 gal per minute At around 1100 engine rpm. You may chose any The hydraulic pump for your Stocker Spade and chose from PTO mounted pump manual shift or PTO mounted air shift which comes in 2 choices, either having to press clutch in or not.
You may also chose a front of engine hydraulic Pump which is located behind front bumper. The Model and type of truck used usually dictates which type of hydraulic pumping system can be used.
Water Tank
All Stocker units are supplied with fresh water tank to simplify digging and planting. Typically, tanks are 250 gallons but are dictated by the specific truck and space allowed.
Stockers use an electric water pump located on fender. We find that a normal dig uses 5 to 7 gal of water, which is used as a lubricant for the blades going through dirt. Stockers use sprayer nozzles which we feel are simple to clean and can be replaced easily if damaged.
Additional Options:
Frame slide
The Stocker frame slide system is available as an option that allows your Stocker Tree Spade head to slide on the frame forward or backward up to 16 inches without the need to move yourt truck. By having the frame slide, the operator is able adjust a tree in fractions of or many inches without requiring the operator to go to the cab and make tricky vehicle movements. This saves time, as well as assists the planter in maintaining the best possible tree positioning. Additionally, in the event a vehicle were to get stuck in soft soil, the frame slide can assist in vehicle repositioning, saving the cost and time of calling a wrecker or further assistance.
Hitch plate
Stocker is happy to add a hitch plate to your Stocker Spade unit. Our hitch plates can accommodate the Stocker tree Pod trailer or any other street legal trailer with a hitch.
Air Controls in Cab
Make installation even quicker by the ability to lower and open the digging head without getting out of truck.
Back up Cameras
Get around objects quickly and easily hook up trailer if being used.
